If you’re not familiar with Polga, put it on your list of new things to try in 2015!

Even if pole fitness isn’t right for you, give Polga a chance.  It’s an alternative class which takes moves from pole fitness and combines them with Yoga poses, which makes for a fun, dynamic workout that uses the pole for strengthening, stability, and alignment. One of our newest members of Polga class recently wrote a review of the class at Inversions. When using the pole for Polga, you are able to stabilize and balance more easily than you would in freestanding yoga poses, as well as use it for stretching, strengthening, and elevating your heart rate. The class is very fluid in nature and is a great cardio workout. It’s a class that’s acceptable for all levels of fitness, so “I’m not in shape enough for that” does not get to be your excuse here!

Polga will take you on a journey on how to connect with your heart, mind, & body. You will pinpoint areas of physical and emotional resistance and turn this frustration into a pose that is enjoyable and soothing. Come join us, and stretch your way to a bendier, better you in 2015!
