Plan your Bachelorette Party in Charleston!

Charleston, South Carolina offers a wide variety of entertainment, attractions, and restaurants for people of all ages and interests! Globally known for its rich history, world-class cuisine, gracious hospitality, and of course those fabulous beaches, it’s no wonder Charleston has such a booming tourist industry. Take a walk with us through just a few of the many ways to spend your visit in Charleston.

The bar scene is next level… Literally!

I have lived in Charleston my entire life and still haven’t visited every bar that there is downtown. There’s impeccable rooftop bars with gorgeous views of the harbor, the ocean, or the sunset. A few of my favorites being Eleve inside the Grand Bohemian Hotel, The Rooftop above the Vendue Hotel, or The Pavilion above the Market Pavilion hotel! Each of these bars offers exclusive cocktails, gorgeous scenery, and absolutely delicious dining for manageable prices.

Bachelorette parties!

img_6896Being that Charleston is so unique in cuisine, outings, and travel must-sees, it’s the perfect location for your bachelor/bachelorette parties. There’s tons to do! I’m only gonna share the absolute most unique experience with you though: if you’re looking for a super fun and one of a kind night, Pole Dancing Parties with Inversions Pole Fitness are for you! They host hundreds of bachelorette parties, birthdays, and private nights out every year. With packages for everyone, all of which include photos and mimosas, pick your poison! Do you want to learn chair dance, burlesque, exotic, twerk, and more? An absolute must for anyone looking for a fun night out, and with instructors who excel in making you feel sexy and confident no matter your dance ability (or lack thereof if you’re like me), I highly recommend!

Beach fun

You don’t go to a coastal city and ignore the beach: it’s impossible. Charleston practically sits in the ocean, so when you’re here…. don’t pass up on the opportunity to go hunting for sand dollars, tap into the many souvenir shops, or simply enjoy a day in the sun. Isle of Palms, Folly Beach, and Sullivan’s Island are the 3 most popular beaches in the Charleston area. Visit TACO BOY, Lost Dog Cafe, or even Coconut Joe’s Beach Grill for a delicious lunch during your trip! Many of the businesses around the beach offer recreational activities such as paddleboards, surf rentals, etc to really make the most of it!

Shop til you drop!

Charleston is great for spending money, isn’t it?? For all you retail lovers, impulse buyers, souvenir hoarders and more, there’s shops for MILES. King Street in downtown is loaded with boutiques. Tanger Outlet is an outdoor shopping mall off the 213A exit a couple miles outside of town. Clothing, jewelry, eateries, art, music, and soooo much more to commemorate your trip for decades!

Cuisines Tour

As the spoken and unspoken culinary capital of the South, Charleston is obviously big on food! Charleston Restaurant Week is basically a holiday for us Carolinians every year. A few of my favorite restaurants have already been mentioned, but you can also join Charleston Food Tours for a multi-stop visit around the city’s best eats! With 7 food stops for small bites, dessert tastings, and the full dining experience, this tour ends at the actual home of aware-winning chef, James Beard! If that doesn’t capture your fancy (and your stomach), I don’t know what will.

Live Music!

A good number of the restaurants in the area offer live bands and acts on any given day. So there’s literally hundreds of concerts to see! In addition, being such a big travel destination, Charleston sees many of the big stars in music as well! We have countless music/performance venues throughout our Holy City, but listed below are just a few of the most popular, where you can see acts as small as Tops In Blue, or as big as Kane Brown and everything in between!

  • Charleston  Performing  Arts  Center
  • Charleston  Music  Hall
  • The  Charleston  Pour  House
  • North  Charleston  Coliseum

Bulldog Tours

With the headquarter building on Upper King Street, Bulldog Tours has MASTERED the art of touristry. They offer year round tours to take you through every part of Charleston. Ghost tours offering exclusive access to cemeteries and graveyards, the oldest prison in Charleston, the ghosts of the USS Yorktown and more! They also offer pub crawls to visit the best bars in the area, historical tours in which you can see secret gardens and learn about the rich history of our town, or you can tour the Dark Side of Charleston and learn the uncensored parts the City would urge us not to share!

Charleston is perfect for everyone of all ages! So come stay a while, feel welcome, and you’ll be hooked!
