Top Restaurants to Visit During Your Bachelorette Weekend in Charleston

One of the most asked questions from our Bachelorette parties is “where should we go to eat?” Charleston and the surrounding areas are full of incredible stops for dining or drinking. The hardest part is deciding which ones to eat at.

No matter what type of food you are looking for, we’ve got you covered! From Southern comfort food, insane barbecue favorites or Asian fusion, you can find whatever it is you’re craving all throughout Charleston. With so many favorites, you will find many of Charleston’s best are within walking distance of scenic views, hotels, beaches and shopping destinations.

1. Lewis BBQ

The brisket will change your life… The menu is stacked with all your BBQ favorites including sides of mac & cheese, creamy potato salad and tangy coleslaw. Their meats are priced per pound. Not sure how much you can eat? They recommend 1/2lb per person. This is a meal you will want to save room for!

2. Little Jack’s Tavern

The BEST burger in America, according to Bon Appetit, and it is good, but the crudité is the real star of the show here (not kidding). Good for lunch or dinner. Their menu may be small, but small is the last thing used to describe the incredible flavors within each dish.

3. The Ordinary

A Charleston seafood classic located inside a renovated bank. With an extensive list of cold seafood options, The Ordinary will satisfy any raw bar cravings. 

4. Neon Tiger

Love great food but have dietary restrictions? This is the place for you. This restaurant is dedicated to being completely vegan and offers several gluten free options as well. While Neon Tiger is tailored to those with restrictions in their diet, their menu will satisfy anyone! The dimly lit, neon ambiance is a great way to kick off your night feeling full and feeling good.

5. Mill Street Tavern

This large spot located on Shem Creek offers incredible views overlooking the marsh. This is the perfect spot to watch the sunset and enjoy great food and drinks. The menu includes a variety of food, from brunch favorites to sushi to burgers!

6. Church & Union

This restaurant is located in an old church with stunning preservation. Serving Brunch, Lunch, Dinner and Midday meals you are sure to enjoy some quality food and craft cocktails. Be sure to stay up to date on all the new dishes they are constantly adding to their menu. Church & Union is located across from the lively Charleston City Market. You can fill up on delicious food and then check out some local vendors.

7. 82 Queen

Charleston’s favorite Lowcountry cuisine. Southern comfort food like shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes taken to a new, refined, level! They keep their menu fresh by changing their offerings with the seasons.

8. Leon’s

Good, classic fried chicken. Oysters too! Located in a refurbished old garage, Leon’s is the perfect place to grab a casual lunch and enjoy craft beer or rosé on tap. End the meal with some soft serve!

9. Xiao Bao Biscuit

Asian fusion at its best. The menu is stacked with incredible flavors and dishes made to share. This restaurant is great for lunch or dinner! They do not take reservations so plan ahead.

10. Le Farfalle

A delicious Italian meal. The menu is full of Italian classics and steakhouse style meats. This big space would be great for a group. Make sure to save room for one of their many dessert drink choices.

Charleston is the perfect city for a bride who loves good food. With restaurants and cafes on every corner, you are sure to find something everyone in your party will enjoy.
